Meet Sierra
Shanna - Life Full and Frugal

About me

Hi, I’m Sierra. Perviously an office manage for a major real estate appraisal company, I have recently made the decision to follow my dreams and dive into blogging on a full-time basis! My older sister, and follow blogger, Starla, and I are roommates. We live in a beautiful old log cabin conversion in rural West Central Ohio. I enjoy decorating our home with thrifted and second hand items that bring a feminine touch. My favorite home decor look is a mixture of antique and retro, which creates a uniquely eclectic look in our home. Fresh flowers in pretty vases is one of the great simple pleasures of my life. I have also always loved clothing and shoes and putting together my own unique looks. A good capsule wardrobe that can be mixed and matched and dressed up and down with shoes and jewelry makes me very happy. I also enjoy trying new skin care routines and makeup techniques (tho I’m no beauty blogger!). I enjoy a variety of different music; including jazz, blues, and folk. Reading is definitely one of my favorite pass times. It has enriched my life in so many different ways. Travel is also a huge passion of mine. I have travelled all over the States, Mexico, and in several countries in Europe. After I graduated from high school I lived for a year in Germany as an au pair and I loved it. In the last few years I have found a deep love for flower and veggie gardening. I love getting outside and getting my hands in the dirt. It feels like a form of therapy. My greenhouse and garden are definitely my “happy place”. Photography is something I enjoy playing around with as well. I really enjoy my time in the kitchen, cooking and baking. You could probably consider me a jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none. I like a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I love a great cup of coffee, but a bad cup of coffee is better than no cup of coffee. I have a deep appreciation for cheese. Not sure how I would live without it.
